Kim Noyes

Physical therapist and owner of Special K Fitness

Kim is a 1990 graduate from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy. She has been a physical therapist for 27 years and worked in the physical therapy field for 37 years. Kim grew up in the Farmington area.

Kim opened Special K Fitness in 1999 after working in various other settings; such as, the hospital acute care, home health, nursing home long term care, skilled nursing and outpatient. Kim has taught at San Juan College in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program and currently serves on the board. She is a 2005 graduate of Leadership San Juan. Kim is a member of the National American Physical Therapy Association, and the New Mexico Chapter of the APTA. She is currently seeking additional education hours in the treatment of Vestibular Rehab to better meet the needs of the community.

Kim is happily married and although she doesn’t have any children of her own, she enjoys her nieces, nephews and all the great nieces and great nephews. She and her wife enjoy the outdoors with their dogs and especially snowshoeing with their newest addition – Bailee, a 1 ½ year old Shorky.

Cyndi Frank

Physical therapist, certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist and is beginning certification in Dry Needling and Spinal Manipulative Therapy.

Cyndi has a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from University of New Mexico in 2007. She has been a PT for 10 years and in the Physical Therapy field for 17 years. Cyndi is Dine’ (Navajo) and from Shiprock, NM.

Cyndi has experience working in the outpatient setting as a Partner in a franchise and in an Indian Health Service Clinic. Cyndi also has experience working in Home Health, School Setting and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Cyndi is happily married and has two beautiful growing children. Cyndi enjoys doing activities with her family on their home on the Navajo reservation.

Jeanette Jaquez

Jeanette Jaquez

Physical Therapist Assistant

Jeanette received her physical therapist assistant license in 2004. She is certified in Kinesio taping and is a certified clinical instructor. Jeanette became interested in physical therapy when her Father was in a rehab hospital for a brain injury.

Jeanette loves her job and her patients, and feels like they are family. Jeanette and her husband have two children, both graduating from college in December 2017.

Joan Manchester

Physical Therapist Assistant

Joan graduated from San Juan College physical therapist assistant program in 2008.

She has past experience as a massage therapist and felt people were not recovering from their injuries because they remained weak. This ultimately led her to her career in physical therapy. Joan is trained in Strain/Counter strain manual techniques, Kinesio taping, and is a certified clinical instructor.

Joan has been married for 32 years and enjoys exploring the southwest region with her husband. They have a grown son.

 Madalyn (Madi) Yabeny

Physical Therapist Assistant

Madalyn graduated from the San Juan College Physical Therapist Assistant Program in 2016 and is a licensed PTA. Madalyn’s passion for physical therapy first began with a personal experience with physical therapy during her own athletic career. It was during her time as a life guard and water safety instructor for 6 years, that she began to relish in each personal journey of growth and improvement of her students. Having been born and raised in the community, Madalyn understands the values and priorities of her patients here in the Four Corners area. Madalyn enjoys swimming, a variety of athletics, the outdoors, traveling and time with family and beloved pets.

MacRussell (Mac) Laux

Physical Therapist Assistant

Mac graduated from San Juan College Physical Therapist Assistant Program in 2015.

He was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States at the age of ten. He lived in Barrow, Alaska for a year and later moved to Farmington. Mac’s interest for physical therapy began when one of his friends experienced a shoulder injury.

He graduated from Piedra Vista High School in 2011 and has remained close to his culture and continues to speak his native language Tagalog. Mac enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, sports, art, and movies.

Alejandra (Alex) Clamor

Physical Therapist Assistant

Alex is a graduate from San Juan College Physical Therapist Assistant Program in 2016. Alex joined the military shortly after graduating high school and served from 2004-2012. The military took her to live in Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas. Yet she always thought about the desert heat and the mountains that are seen in the distance in Farmington, N.M. Born and raised in Farmington, N.M., she has an 11-year-old boy. She comes from a Spanish speaking family and is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends; she loves the arts, movies and meeting new people.
